Gang Factory

Bascially a Big compound gangs can buy where they will have storage space, a multidrug processor and a processor to build guns and cars with the blue prints from the area 51 for example. 

They can store it in the compound which then can be raided by a gang or sell it straight away. 3/4 factorys around the map for big gangs to buy and should cost like 50+ mil to buy it as your gang will have the opportunity to make some money if they have one. The storage space could also be used if you done a bank to store the gold bars in.

Need to elaborate in more depth about these

Are these custom compounds?

  • If so how big are they supposed to be?
  • Object count

Are they in red zone?

  • If not do they have their own red zone or are they just normal?

How does the raiding system work?

  • How many members need to be online to raid it? 1,5,10?
  • What items do you need to raid it, blasting charge/c4, boltcutters, something new?

What about storage space?

  • How much do they get by default?
  • Can it be upgraded, how many times?

Do they get a a garage, shops, helipad etc?

If so why? Its a factory not a gang base!

Could use the barracks on some places like lighthouse etc. Don't need to add more objects then next to a sign. 
You have Lighthouse, next to delfinaki there is a "factory compound" which can be used.

No, could be an option but rather have it somewhere normal just spread around the map.

  • How many members need to be online to raid it? 1,5,10? Atleast 5 members
  • What items do you need to raid it, blasting charge/c4, boltcutters, something new? Just boltcutters, like breaking in to a house but it should take longer then. 

What about storage space?

  • How much do they get by default? 2500 at default and can upgrade in tiers, 10000 max?
  • Can it be upgraded, how many times?  You can upgrade the storage, 1 2500, 2 4000, 3 6000, 4 7500, 5 8500, 6 10000

Do they get a a garage, shops, helipad etc? No garage or whatever, otherwise we might aswell add all this to the gangbase. Which could be better but has been suggested a few times already and denied. 

If so why? Its a factory not a gang base! Gang bases are currently kinda useless, yes you get a little bit cheaper shit but other then that it is just a spawn location and some fun on saturday. There is no purpose in that. Rebel life is currently kind shit, just looking ways to up it a little bit. Let gangs work for new shit to buy like a factory where they can make more money to buy other shit in the future.

Well you still need to get the drugs, process them at the factory and then go to a dealer and sell them, no chance it would have a pro AND a seller, way too OP.

Same as blueprints, you still need to rob A51 to get them.

Police could raid within the law, reasonable suspicion/warrant/crime in progress etc

Yea but when cops know where it is they will go because they know already it’s illegal shit there, so it should have another thing related to cops

That's not how it works though, if they just go there and raid it because they can then they should be punished.

I am sure police can edit/add rules to combat this.

Cops can still raid it. Gangs can do the run untill the factory and store it in there, If cops raid it there could be gold bars, drugs, blueprints. Everything could be in there. Cops used to raid gang sheds but no one stores shit in them. Factory will add something new for gangs.... Bigger gangs will do runs again and have something to do. 

Big gangs will come out redzone with this. Do a run, make money together and then buy ifrits for the gang members which will then improve fights on cap. Cops have something new to do aswell... i see it as a + for every side. @Albiston

As long as it’s some what balanced then i +1.

would cops be able to raid it when they like? Or only when we have reasonable suspicion. If we’re allowed to raid it whenever we like there should be a limit and obviously the SI+ permission.

what I’m thinking is that once per day police can raid it maybe even during a certain restart like 4-8. As police can only raid once per day we would only do it with high numbers and I’m sure rebels would also respond with high numbers as it has all their goods in there which would lead to a big fight. This should hopefully be a good balance.

what if police could monitor the factory's with drones or have npas up and if they see any suspious activity then they could maybe raid with permission off a CI+

+1 The raiding could be similar to raiding the PD, where it goes orange then red but would need a boltcutter for the door and a blasting charge for storage. it could also have a jewellery crafter.
  
The factory could also have a purifier, as the only purifier is in redzone and is very far away making the run too long and not worth it, this can make purified runs more common.

If it gets accepted, please add the option to fight over the factory. The system the APD has now can be used.

The defending gang needs to have 5+ people online to do it and then the factory turns orange so the gang has time to setup. When it turns red the fight starts. If the attacking gang can capture a flag and hold it for 10 mins the factory is theirs.

You need to clarify this fighting option

Say you pay 50 million for a factory and then a day later u lose it because you didn't have the numbers to defend it, not a  very efficient system.

  • How long do you lose it for? A restart, a day, permanent?  Sounding more and more like gang base!

Then u might as well remove the storage aspect as well, no point storing stuff if you are just going to lose it for a specified period of time

They can do that, but not 24/7 otherwise this would be camping. 

"8.3.3 - Any illegal / rebel activity areas can be watched for up to 10 minutes at a time. After that, a marker must be placed and officers cannot return there for 30 minutes unless chasing or tailing a suspect."

But this will certainly bring up the amount of NPAS / NCA patrols that monitor these areas.

 

Furthermore, that's a good point you've raised. The House Raiding rules would have to be changed to a lower rank as some SI+s don't like to read their PMs (*cough cough* @Sir.).
